“Dont buy vitamix!!! Get this instead...30 year warrantee vs 10 yr. Stacking bowls are a convenience, blade tray designed for easy access, lots of blade options for versatility, powerful motor. Be sure to have counter space b/c base is too heavy to lift up and down from under the cabinet. I love my magimix!!!”
“Wow! This beast has impressed me thus far. It's a tank and gets the job done so easily. I'm sure it'll handle anything I ask of it. It's by far the best food processor I've ever had and I thought I've used some good ones in the past, but not compared to this machine! Get ya one, you won't be disappointed!”
“I researched, for quite some time, the best full-size food processor out there. I never expected the Magimix to enter into the equation, but I quickly learned WHY this machine is the best. Yes, Breville is very good, but it can't hold a candle to the Magimix 5200XL. The Magimix is supremely powerful, tastefully styled, and built like a tank. I wanted a food processor that wouldn't brake. In other words, I wanted a machine that is worth the money paid for it. So far, I absolutely love this thing! It is easy to operate, quick to process, and very simple to clean. I've thrown a lot at it, to start, and it's passed with flying colors (and then some).
There's always the possibility of getting a lemon of a machine, but this is true for everything. Mine definitely isn't and I'm glad the warranty will cover any issues that could come up.
I got a great deal on this machine and definitely know it is money WELL spent. The 5200XL is not only the top of the line for Magimix, but also for non-commercial food processors overall. Having watched many review videos, the Magimix came out on top for reason - it IS the original food processor. The one that started it all and the one that takes food processing to another level.
Now all Magimix/LeChef need to do is release the Cook Expert in the United States. Then the Magimix combo will be complete. Nonetheless, I am very happy with my Magimix 5200XL and recommend it highly!”
“I think this is the fourth 5200XL I've purchased--one for me and three as gifts.
The reason I purchased the ones as gifts is because I was so impressed with mine. I was afraid that my 36-year-old Japanese Cuisinart--which, in 1988, was top of the line--would finally die on me, especially its bowl (which can't be replaced). Plastics have come a LONG way since then, so I know I need have no concerns on that score. I also wanted more capacity, 16 cups vs. 14 cups. The Sabatier blades/disks are beyond sharp and cut so cleanly that no liquid is expressed. Chop, shred, slice--the 5200 XL doesn't break a sweat. The large capacity allows me to make large batches of hummus, too. And I love having three nesting bowls. I've read of people having problems with the bowls' not being used being splashed but that hasn't been my experience. I especially love the smallest bowl for little jobs--so convenient!
My only complaint isn't with NutriMill but with Robot Coupe--North America gets short shrift, i.e. we don't get color choices, the full range of accessories, or the choice of buying food processors bundled with some of those accessories, e.g. extra disk kits. We don't even have access to replacement storage boxes. They don't seem to realize that they could really expand their market by making more options available to us. Regardless, the customer service reps at NutriMill are really nice--it's good to know that if you have a question or issue, there's someone to talk to.
Did I mention how much I love my 5200XL?”
“Wow, wow, wow.
So much stronger than the brands that are continuously popular. I will never go back. It is my first Food Processor for this brand, so far, it's sturdy - it's great. So glad I decided to purchase it.”
