Smart Juicer® Portable Slow Juicer Reviews

4.5 Rating 10 Reviews
I am LOVING this juicer! I really don't have room to store more kitchen gadgets and I didn't want to spend hundreds on a juicer that I would only be using 1-2 times a week. I needed something compact and easy to manage and this guy fits the bill! You do have to cut the pieces pretty small to fit in the chute but it's not that much of an inconvenience.

The battery lasts a real long time. I kept thinking it would run out by the end of the week after using it 1-2 times a day but its still going. I'm not sure how much usage it takes to actually drain the entire thing after a full charge. Initial charge takes 4~6 hours putting it on a usb adapter to an outlet. What I like the most is that it is a vertical juicer so it takes up virtually no space on my table that has a lot of appliances already. I like baking so juicing pineapples/apples and what not make it an excellent addition since I can move it around easily to juice and not have to deal with plugging it in with all my other stuff. Quality is a big determinant if I keep things so I tend to inspect the casing and feel of whatever I buy. For this right off the bat I noticed the durable construction of the product. It wasn't the cheap plastic you can find in others but if you buy Bosch stuff you can tell when the plastic feels like quality. The motor has a good weight as well. I didn't notice that the pulp chute can fit on the top until I saw the image on the box so that saves me the trouble of having to store it. Doesn't snap in but you can use a rubber band to hold in in place. Not necessarily a bad thing since things that snap in eventually can wear down/crack the item so I prefer it like this. Doesn't make loud noise so I can juice at night without issues and I like the beeps it gives off when I put it together which indicate you can turn it on. Motor won't turn on until everything is correctly in place probably to avoid damage. Other than that there is a stopper for the juice chute that stops the flow of juice when you finish juicing so the extra doesn't drip all over the table. I cut everything into little pieces to avoid using the plunger because for baking I want only juice and no pulp. Cleanup is obviously easily given the compact profile vs a larger juicer. Again having no cord makes me happy I can juice where ever it is convenient to me and not where the outlets are.
