“Does quite well grinding hard red wheat. Have not yet tried soft wheat but pretty sure will power through it without an issue. The only issue with it is that during grinding. It puts out an odor, slight burning smell. Have tried different settings but still has an odor.”
“The NutriMill does a good job of grinding the grain. It is messy though. The seal between the cannister and the mill does not seat well. When I remove the cannister, there is a good amount of flour on the top of the cannister. Sometimes this gets blown out away from the mill. Also, the mill seems to be a little warped, as I have to pull up on the left side to get the cannister to slide in easily.”
“This machine is affordable and simple. It allows me to make more nutritious freshly milled flour products for my family.
Resulting texture was very important to me as I compared the impact mill to the stone varieties and I'm pleased with the results. Although I can't make very coarsly milled products, I'm very pleased that I can mill a wider variety of grains to moderately coarse down to very fine texture.
This device doesn't contaminate my kitchen with flour. I couldn't be happier with the product!”
“allows me to prep a lot of flour very quickly. it has definitely encouraged me to bake more! and I love that I can mill all different types of grains and beans. Its huge in my tiny kitchen, but it has become the most important appliance on my countertop”
“I'm new to milling , and I've had my mill for almost 2 weeks. A friend recommended this one, and I'm SO GLAD I purchased it. My family and I have used it 3 times (hard red, hard white, and soft white). We're so pleased with the results, from bread flour to finer flour for waffles, it's all been great. Though the machine isn't quiet, it isn't as loud as our high speed blender. Plus, it's pretty quick and doesn't make a mess. I saw a tip to brush some flour on the seal for the bin that collects the flour, and we haven't had any trouble opening the bin. Overall, I'm very pleased with this grain Mill and can't wait to use it for years to come.”
