“I purchased this mill 2-3 months ago and have used it on a weekly basis soley to mill wheat berries. At first I only did a few cups at a time as I was tweaking my fresh milled bread recipe. After a few uses I noticed that the inside would gum up with flour and it was difficult to clean in the crevices because it doesn't come completely apart. The last several times I have used it with larger quantities (10 cups of wheat berries). This takes awhile since you can only mill for 10 minutes at a time and give it a 10 minute rest period per the manufacturer's directions. The inside is difficult to clean and it does not come apart completely. I have contacted the company and only received a generic reply telling me to send it in for maintenance, which I suppose they would take it apart, clean it, and send it back after only 7-8 uses? Today I milled like usual and after two round of milling/resting it shuts off and quits working. I waited an hour and it still won't turn back on. I have cleaned the inside the best i can of the wet gummy flour that hardens and dries inside and it just won't work.
This is a terrible product for anyone who wants to make bread on a weekly basis for their family. Don't buy it. They will not give you a refund.”
“I purchased mine in 2017, and I love it so much that I bought my daughter-in-law one. I love how you can adjust your grains for different recipes, from grits to fine flour. Making bread with wheat berries is not only good for your health, but it can also be healing. Besides being healthy, it is also fun to mill your wheat with the Harvest Nutrimill.”
