“I love this mixer, I had the same problem with a hand mixer. Sadly the mixer is powerful, we should use the metal paddle holder, it doesn’t help that the paddles are plastic. It would be so much better if you offered metal attachments so that we could make sure there is not a weak link. I hate that from now on I’m going to have to take a chance on breaking the paddle if I make large batches of cookie dough”

“My paddles broke the first time I used them. I did use the correct attachment and in reading my manual it stated that the mixer could handle up to 6 lbs of dough. I've been making this recipe for at least 15 years and it has never changed and the weight has always been 3 lbs.
