“I bought the stainless steel dough hook (with a built-in stainless steel extender) which was advertised as being for the BOSCH but also advertised as being compatible with the Nutrimill Artiste (which is what I have). And that dough hook IS compatible. I have used it only once at this point, and I did wish it extended further.
I saw a video of someone who thought her dough hook on her Bosch was stainless steel and she showed clamping it on in such a way that I could not tell that it was a DIFFERENT dough hook than the one I just got (and I believe it was the one her Bosch came with). I could not call Bosch or Nutrimill to ascertain whether the plastic extender would work with my new dough hook and on a HOPE I just went ahead and bought it. It is now at the thrift store I gave it to.
My main complaint is that you cannot get real people to answer your questions on the Nutrimill and Bosch websites. There are those who will "chat" with you that I do not believe are real people. It was disappointing, but I AM glad I got the stainless steel dough hook for my Artiste as I am NOT comfortable using aluminum alloys when I make food. People both with Artistes and Bosches tend to ASSUME their dough hooks are stainless steel even when they are not and I believe the company needs to own up to exactly what they are selling you. That said, I am VERY appreciative that I was able to get a stainless steel dough hook, even though it is expensive (about 100 bucks) and overall I am happy with its performance.”
