“I really like the dough hook it is very sturdy works well. But the scraper part does not do as good as the plastic scraper , it leaves a lot of mixer hanging on the center post.”
“I am so glad I got this stainless steel dough hook. Made for a Bosch mixer -- I've forgotten which one -- it is also compatible with the Nutrimill Artiste mixer, which I have. I was never comfortable with the hook it came with, which rather than stainless steel is an aluminum alloy (which is why it should not be washed in dishwasher). I like the way it fits into the Artiste mixer. The dough does not rise up as much in the middle. It DOES seem to take a lot longer to get the flour off the bottom sides of the bowl, but it does eventually. This is NOT compatible with the plastic extender sold for another Bosch dough hook (which I presume is the one those mixers came with). Now I can breathe easy with my dough hook knowing it is stainless steel. Not inexpensive, but totally worth it!”
