“Mixer arrived within one week. Looked to be brand new. Could not tell that it was used/refurbished. Have used it twice and it worked great. Much easier than kneading by hand.”
“I have literally waited MONTHS and months for the opportunity to purchase a refurbished Artiste mixer. I had been advised that the refurbished Artiste Mixers always sell out fast, so I didn’t dawdle when I received the “Back in Stock” text message. I literally dropped everything the moment I received the notification (Yes, the "Notify Me When Available" actually works!) and placed my order. Evidently, that advice was accurate, because the inventory went from available to Sold Out, in under 5 hours, in the middle of the night!
Throughout the entire process the "Human" Nutrimill representatives have been AWESOME and informative! ("Claire the AI receptionist" tries but I prefer real people.) I received updates from the moment my order was placed/accepted, through the entire packaging/shipping/delivery journey.
My Artiste looks absolutely perfect, just like new and so far, is operating flawlessly. Should anything change, I have the peace of mind of knowing that I have the Nutrimill Warranty!
I was warned to watch the Artiste closely when first using it, to make sure that my dough would not over mix...This was very good advice! If I was to let the Artiste mix for as long as it took in my former, heavy (and shall remain nameless) stand mixer, the dough would have been ruined.
The Artiste is light enough that it is a pleasure to move around, but once you place it where you want it the suction cup "feet" keep it securely in place. Honestly, it's footprint is compact enough that I have decided to dedicate a spot on my counter for it to stay!
Do I have any Complaints...Well...just one. :) The Artiste is so efficient that my dough mixes so quickly that I almost feel silly getting it dirty ;) My dough is perfectly mixed and kneaded in just a few minutes. It does such a good job! Oh, and speaking of getting it dirty, cleaning the Artiste is a DREAM. I have found if you just let the small amount of dough residue dry, you can easily wipe it out into the garbage and then wash a virtually clean bowl! No more fighting to keep dough out of the drain!
If you are on the fence like I was; concerned that a mixer with such a large capacity won't do a good job mixing smaller batches of dough, hop off that fence and get on the list and take the plunge! I am almost exclusively making single loaf recipes! The Artiste is fantastic! I believe you will be as happy as I am!”
“I bought this as a refurbished model because of its low price. I also own a Bosch and Kitchen Aid. I bought this to replace my KA that can't handle bread dough like this and the Bosch do. I used it this morning for the first time making sourdough hamburger buns. It's so easy to use and clean. While I'm not a fan of plastic bowls, it's a lot lighter than my Bosch bowl.
Looking forward to lots of baking!”
