The Rivermead Natural Solid Oak Bookcase combines shelving space with handy drawer storage in an innovatively designed unit. Set in the middle of the piece are two bar handled drawers, which have been crafted by expert joiners using traditional dovetail joints. Surrounding these drawers are four deep solid oak shelves - perfect for displaying your prized book collection, DVDs or ornaments. The A-grade oak timbers have been finished in a high grade wax polish, to enrich the grain patterns and bring out the natural lustre. We only ever use the finest materials and we never use MDF, chipboard or veneers in any of our products. The Rivermead design is cool and contemporary; ideal for a modern living space. “I was looking for good quality smart new furniture for my Dad's retirement apartment, and decided to view the range at Oakfurnitureland. I was pleasantly surprised by the choice of styles, quality and the competitive prices. Having seen the items I needed in store, I ordered online with a specific day for delivery at extra cost, which is optional but well worth it. The ordering process via the web site was simple and quick. As requested the furniture arrived on the chosen day and the service from the delivery team was exceptional, who were pleasant, efficient and helpful. With minimal assembly, merely the handles, they were set up in no time, complimenting the lounge, you can see there's no Ikea in here. It was a first-time purchase and extremely happy with the whole process and the quality of the items; Well worth a visit to a store and online if you are looking for this type of furniture. “we chose this unit and was given delivery date, guys rang upto ask ifwas okay to deliver earlier than stated time. i was sent txt messages and emails and kept in touch throughout transaction. couldnt fault their service at all and definately recommend them to others”

“The bookcase arrived very quickly after ordering on line. I put wax on it, as advised, although it didn't look as if it needed it. It looks good and I am pleased with it. The only downside was trying to get all the packaging off a fairly big item on my own.”
