“Rear tires are stiff and are not an easy roll device. Better instructions for inflation of tires needed. Went to Firestone Auto for assistance. Better outside roller then inside.”
“I broke my ankle in several places so had a plate etc put in. Because of my size I couldn't use crutches safely (according to Physio) so ordered this - it took a couple of days of learning how to best use but has been great (just been decades since I have used a scooter of any sort lol) Truly a great machine”
“I purchased my knee scooter from Oasis after talking to people who either purchased one or received one from their Dr.
In talking with people I saw that most scooters were made with not much knee padding and hard rubber tires.
I was told by a woman using one with hard tires and every pebble or uneven crack in any walkway would stop or tilt the scooter.
I chose the Oasis Bariatric 500 lb not because of my size but because of the size of the knee pad and the crevice in the knee pad. Also the pneumatic tires were a must plus power disc brake and the ability to to the scooter easily brake mode I use all the time. I know I made the right purchase in the two weeks since my surgery I have used it. I have about 4-6 weeks left to use it.
I also had my Dr, nurses and others ask me about it.

“I didn’t expect it to be as “heavy duty?as it is. Disk brake, heavy duty tube frame yet engineered to be easily collapsed to put in my car. I’m happy with it.”
“Very nice especially compared to crutches for an out of shape guy. Good choice and buy. The local DME dealer in my hometown wanted $400 for one that was half the quality.”
