“I have a long and family history of Hashimoto's (hypothyroidism). Unfortunately doctors think that taking Synthroid is all you need to fix this increasingly annoying condition. However, after much research along with my last set of disconcerting labs (which showed my fasting blood glucose to be 131 after years of being way in the normal range), I decided that there was NO WAY I was going to allow a Dx of diabetes. It's bad enough that the Synthroid causes high BP, and so now I'm on Cozaar as well -- I certainly don't want to add Metformin to the list, when everything points to my thyroid as being the problem! I am a huge fan of Dr. Mercola and have been for years. I read that magnesium is one key nutrient needed to maintain healthy glucose levels and that THIS particular type of magnesium is highly absorbable, which is exactly what I've been looking for! I have purchased this from Mercola.com in the past, but am very pleased to see it offered here on Oceans Alive. I have incorporated some other minor dietary changes in my daily routine as well, but let me just say that in just over 3 months my glucose levels went from 131 to 109! And I have only been taking one of the two recommended doses of this (bc it is a little pricey). Now that I know it is working, you bet I'll be taking both doses from now on! Excellent product and well worth the money!”
