“I am vaguely aware of the work of Weston A Price (through Paul Chek's "How to Eat, Move and be Healthy"), and I stumbled across this product because butter oil (which I'd never heard of!) is part of a home-made baby formula recipe that was recommended by the Weston A Price Foundation. Also I have a root canal, so am hoping that it will help with this (along with high-dose vitamin C and co-enzyme Q10 that I've been taking to ease it). I'm very encouraged by the other reviews of this product. This is a return to old school remedies for me - my mum made us drink a tablespoon of cod liver oil every now and again when we were growing up. Little did I know that I'd return to it, for help with hip pain during menopause. Also, I recently read that cod liver oil is helpful in cases of severe bipolar disorder, for helping to rebalance brain chemistry - wowzer, what a tonic! I'm taking a 'loading dose' of one teaspoon at night, with dinner. Will drop down to half a teaspoon after hte first 4-6 weeks. Also drinking a cup of bone broth every lunchtime, and taking organic cold-pressed flaxseed oil in the mornings for Omega-3s. Its gotta be said, this stuff doesn't taste so great - but as long as it does the job, I live in hope. Pricey, but worth a try - "health is wealth", at the end of the day. If it can keep the pain out of my hip this winter, and improve the area around my root canal, then it will definitely have earned its keep.”
