“10 years ago in Hawaii we bought a pair each. My husband has just bought a second pair he loves them so much. I on the other hand can only wear mine for a short time before hurting my feet, shame as they look great, but I have narrow feet so this might be a reason as they are a wide fit. I may just have a pair that is not up to standard as it it only the one that is a problem. As I live in the U.K. it was not as though I could take them back! Anyway it is many years past now and I wear them when I am not expecting to walk very far!”

“Have owned 3 pair of Hiapo's, The last 2 pair the toe strap between the great toe and 2nd toe failed, once broken but still intact began to irritate my foot after prolonged wear. Both times this happened after the 12 month warranty expired approximately 18 months. My 1st pair about 8 years old the toe straps are intact. I will contact customer service about repair or replacement. I buy Quality and expect Quality in return.”
