One thing that bit me is the fact that the leather sandals are a true size smaller than the rubber slippers. I purchased from a vendor who did not accept returns (MISTAKE).
Very happily I called customer service, talked to a lovely agent named Alma. She set me up big time! Sent the same day a new pair in a size larger, apologized for the sizing issue, and when I asked where to return the originals; she said to give them to a friend!
