“Instead of my dream Hawaiian Beach ‘Ohanas, my new shoes turned against me. After a manicure, as the desk was pulled away, my right foot (shod in ‘Ohana) was bleeding profusely, so bloody, not only my foot, but the floor was flooded with blood. The manicurist wrapped my foot and shoe in a towel and fitted a baggie over the foot so I could walk to my car. I got home, cleaned up, tried to bleach the blood out of the shoe (with meager results)and re-wrapped my foot when the blood started flowing again. Slept with foot wrapped and covered in a new baggie. Next day wrapped toes and wore my Birkenstock’s. I determined the ‘Ohana rubbed the knuckles of toes three and four raw; enough to cause the bleeding. Needless to say I’m a bit disappointed with the product.
