“I love the fit and look. If you're half size go to the higher size. I had to return the nine for a 10 so they run small I'm a nine and a half. When I got the 10 however they fit awesome and they are very nice I bought some conditioner and I am really looking forward to see how they last and break in. Very well made from what I can see and feel. For those looking for a higher quality flip-flop that you can dress down or up or anywhere in the middle with”
“I had a pair of Olu Kai slippers awhile back. They were amazing. I am honestly not exactly sure what style they were. Because they were given. They were blue and I wanna say on the cheaper side then the Mea Ola. I really love them! They asked me a long time!
The Mea Ola are decent. My main complaint is that where my big toe and the one next to it. Where the strap is it rubbs and poks into my toe. Causing some discomfort. Only on the right side as well. I was hoping it was just new slippers needed sometime to break in. Still does it! Kinda bummed honestly. The other thing the big made in China stamp on the inside of the strap kinda bumms me out. Seeing on how much I spent. Overall I’ll still buy another pair from you guys in the future. Might try a different style”
“I just bought my second pair of Mea Ola’s - I now own the black as well as the dark brown. I love the style, they just look cool! I’m a 9 in my other OluKai flip flops so nothing surprising about the sizing of these. Highly recommended.”
“They're nice looking. They rub between the toes. Also, they fit in the length but strap isn't snug enough across the top of the foot so they are too much work to keep on. I should have gone with a size smaller. I did actually, and sent them back because they were a bit short, but actually fit better I realize now, because the strap is really more important. But by the time I sent the first pair back, (in a preferred color) and then received these, I was over it. Hazards of shopping online I guess. This lighter base tone makes feet look bigger in my opinion also, so be aware of that. And my feet are flat. So if you have that problem also I'd go with 9 if you are a 9.5 (type of thing) but that's a pretty personal call.”
