“First - This is a company in Hawaii, I would have preferred if they made them in Hawaii and not China. The sandal appears well made - it's heavier than your regular flip flop, and the thong portion has a tendency to rub your foot a bit when you start to wear them. This is due to the weaved leather it is made of - hopefully over time this smooths out and the leather becomes a bit more supple. I would not depend on walking long distances in them because this could raise a blister. The sole looks like a walking shoe sole and that adds to some of the heft to the sandal. Overall, they look really nice. I love the footbed pattern etched in and it looks like a sandal you would wear out to a cocktail party or with a nice summer outfit for a party. I would use a cheaper sandal for the beach, even though they are called a beach sandal. I doubt the leather would hold up well to salt water. So get them if you want that upscale look, but don't wear them if you need to be on your feet any length of time or you will be walking alot. At least not until they are broken in and you can decide how your feet will feel in them after a long walk. The arched footbed is great - I love that - and I look forward to how this holds up after a few months of wear.”
“The sandals are nice, the materials are soft and comfortable . The weight, look and feel are all there! I will give it 5 stars for all those reasons and I would buy the sandals again. However, I have wide feet and despite the sandal being slightly wider than some others I've tried, if I had one wish it would be to be wider across the arched region of the foot bed just forward of the strap.”
