“I bought my new sandals while on Maui. I asked the Olu Kai store clerk at Whaler’s Village that I had tried Olu Kai slide type sandals and they rubbed my skin in such a way and place that they left sore, abraded areas and wanted to try something else. She guided me to these assuring me that the fabric between the toes would be more comfortable. The fabric between my toes actually rubbed an ulceration between my toes so could not wear.
Now my skin must be more prone to damage than most, although I have no disease or condition that makes it that way. I have 4 pair of Olu Kai shoes and boots and they are great. I wish you could make some sort of padding or different style that would allow me to avoid the rubbing off of skin that both you slide and flip flop types do. I would really like to have an Olu Kai sandal that doesn’t hurt.
My wife loves her’s. I like the shoes from Olu Kai. I live much of the year on Maui and don’t want my feet to hurt.”
