“The same good old sole from Olukai, shapes and supports your foot perfectly, however the Ulele have a narrower profile, this makes the straps to fit snugly and causes pot right on your arch, once your feet heal on this spot and the soles are broken in they are great, but I would definitively recommend sizing up instead of down on this ones.
Oh, and the snug fit means they are mostly silent as you walk, no flap flap flap as with the Ohana.”
“I bought these sandals and wrote a review. I gave them three stars, mainly because they are uncomfortable to wear and walk in for long periods of time. The top strap really irritates my foot and I have resorted to only wearing them around the yard or if I don't have to walk far on an errand. Customer service reached out and asked how they could make it right. Maybe there is a defect and it would be covered under warranty? So I jump through the hoops. I take some pictures, I send them an email and I ask about maybe trying a different pair, perhaps in leather. This goes on for a few days. In the end I am denied, and am stuck with an uncomfortable sandal. I am not angry, just disappointed that they are not standing behind their product. I would have kept the uncomfortable sandal but the fact that they reached out to me and made me do all that nonsense just to tell me no, there is nothing we can do, is infuriating. I will be looking elsewhere for sandals next summer. The customer service here is polite but not good.”
