“This is my first experience with Olukai but I guarantee you it won't be the last. In fact, I've already ordered another pair of shoes.
At first, these slippers, which you can use both in & outside, are extremely "stiff". I thought putting them on my feet would be an issue for a long time. If unfamiliar with Olukai you will note these slippers/shoes/footwear are EXTREMELY STIFF & hard to get on at first. Yes, you do have a loop on the front/tongue and I thought to myself "how does this help me when putting on my shoe?" Then I realized the "loop" Isn't there to help me put on the shoe (in my case anyway) but to help me keep it on.. When I first put the shoe on, with it being so stiff & not pliable the shoe basically sits "back" of the foot. Then I use the loop on the tongue in order to pull the shoe up so my foot slides further down to the "bottom" of the shoe.
Once you get used to it then I started to realize what a well-put-together piece of footwear this is..
Pay attention to the cleaning suggestions because well, you don't want to. Damage the fabric in any way whether on purpose or by accident.
This shoe is well put together. I specifically like the rubber sole of the shoe. It. Makes the shoe seem moreď "stiff" if you will, which in turn makes it seem as if it's fit exact to my foot.
For an indoor/outdoor slipper, this is the type of footwear that it seems as if I've waited my whole adult life for.. Well, at least for the time I've been wearing slippers.
I've read numerous reviews that have an issue putting the shoe, slipper, or footwear on.. Just remember this is high-quality footwear. While it may be hard at first but eventually it will become more pliable & easy to put on.
If you want footwear that will last an extremely long time, and also that will fit your foot perfectly then this is your best bet. Not only for the quality of the footwear but also for the treatment you receive from the company!!
