“I purchased and have been wearing these daily for the past four days hoping to break them in. The leather is stiffer than my pair of Kahu Pahāha, which I loved so much that I wore them out. The problem I have with the Lae'ahli Li 'lli is that they loudly squeak as you move around. The squeak comes from where the leather rubs under the laces between the tung. The more I tighten the laces, the louder they squeak. Even if I loosen the laces, they squeak. I really notice the squeaking with I drive my car by pressing the brake or gas pedal. It's becoming more annoying every day. I wish they would stop squeaking because I love the way they look and are dressy enough to wear to the office with a pair of jeans.”
