“This is the only pair of Olukai I've ever purchased that I would give less than a 4.5 out of 5 stars. All of the others were comfortable right out of the box and required no break in. The normal wide forefoot/toe box on these is narrow and uncomfortably squeeze my forefoot and my little toe in particular. The leather is also quite stiff, which was unexpected. They also are quite squeaky and the tongue is quite uncomfortable / stabs into my ankle. Maybe they will break in and soften up, if I can stand wearing them enough to do so???”
