“The quality of the shoe was definitely there, add expected from OluKai. I really WANTED to like them, however for me, the water-resistant material making up the heel was rubbing against my ankle too much, and it began to cause chaffing.
I could have worn low-cut socks, but that's not really the intent with OluKai footwear. The store was great, and exchanged them out for a different model the next day.
Love my OluKai's. If your feet aren't already accustomed to the sock-less wearing of shoes, might want to go with their softer models and get used to it...and build up the toughness in your skin. Otherwise, these are great shoes.”

One objection. I’ve had three pair of these wonderful shoes. Since I wear these shoes without socks two of the pairs have allowed my big toenail to pierce the mess material after about eight months.”
