“I bought these to wear to work on the hottest days when my full leather Pehuea Lī ‘Ili would trap moisture too much. The Pehuea Lī - Tapa Tapa has fantastic airflow through the mesh, but I really wish they sold the same shoe in a version without any leather components. Olukai's are magical though, Pehuea Lī - Tapa Tapa included. Olukais are the only shoes I've ever worn that keep my feet from hurting after being on them for 16 hrs. Due to knee surgery, I don't have feeling in the big toe and inner arch of my foot, leading to less stability and muscle support in that part of my foot and pain after being on my feet for a few hours. Olukais somehow support my foot perfectly such that I get zero pain, even better than my custom orthotics. This support prevents so much fatigue in my feet and legs. Now I want to toss the rest of my shoes and only wear Olukais!”
