“I was on the fence about keeping or returning these shoes. The top of the shoe rubbed against my ankle and I was worried they would hurt later in the day. Long story short, they are my favorite winter shoe and I wear them every day comfortably.”
“Absolutely gorgeous booties, and quality materials / workmanship. My first Olukais. As someone with a moderately wide foot and a high instep, I do find this item to be a bit too narrow width-wise, and slightly constrictive on the top of my foot in front of my ankle. I would normally opt for a women's 8W, but since not available, I ordered a 8.5 in the hopes that since they are real leather, they will stretch a bit. With 3-4 weeks of intermittent wear, they have loosened up a bit across the top of the foot, but I will probably not order any more bootie-type slippers until you start offering wide widths. Additionally, I do find the insole to not be as comfortable and forgiving as I would like for "comfort" slippers, and may end up replacing with my own softer insoles. Beautiful slippers, and I am glad I can wear them outdoors, but if I had not got them on sale, I would be returning them.”
“An interesting design, but not sure where I would wear this. Too clunky to wear around the house. Not sturdy enough to wear outside. Also, for someone with a long foot, the insoles were made for shorter sizes and not adjusted for longer feet. The arch support was hitting my heel, not my arch, so VERY uncomfortable. The insole was obviously just made longer for the longer sizes, but the arch support was kept in the same position. Very poor design. The designers should use lasts that are made from the feet of real people for each size.”
