“These shoes get a 3/5 because they are as advertised, but the whole-number sizing really is an issue. I have a long, slender foot, typically wear an 8.5 US. I thought about sizing up to a 9 to accommodate the length of my foot, but the straps are not adjustable, so I opted to size down to an 8 and see what happens. The size 8 works well in terms of the strap tightness (that is, accommodates the width of my foot), but my toes are ever so slightly too long. I know a size 9 would be long enough, but not narrow enough. I imagine if one has a wide foot, you’d have the opposite problem if you’re in between sizes. So, I guess this shoe is great if you have an exactly average foot.”
