I often grind batches of linseed (flax) for muesli, etc. Previously this was done with a pretty powerful stick-blender, but it used to take about 10 minutes, the blender and the linseed becoming quite hot in the process. This is not good for the linseed, which tends to oxidise and become rancid.
Using the Omniblend I can get sufficient grind on a similar-sized batch of linseed (about 200 grams) in under 5 seconds on high speed!!
