“It took me ages to decide which toy I should buy for my one year old from the Grimm range. In the end I settled for the wooden pots with lids and the giant threading buttons. She is too little yet to enjoy threading so I have kept the laces and the slightly smaller buttons to one side. She loves to stack the bigger buttons and throw them and I can‰Ûªt wait for her to begin putting them into colour groups etc. The quality is fantastic and the tactileness very pleasing. They make a lovely noise when knocked together. The pots and lids are fun too. My baby struggles to put the lids on but it‰Ûªs fascinating to watch her control developing and they really hold her attention. The game which she decided to play with them is a stacking game. She loves to stack the un-lidded pots one on top of the other, of her own accord. I love these toys for the imaginative possibilities and I have so far really enjoyed sitting back and watching my little one year old explore. I imagine they will take us a long way!
