It was slightly smaller than I thought it would be but very well made and good value.

Rarely has my little girl (aged 3) been so captivated by a doll! Initially I thought the price was a little high for a doll, but you get 4 dolls in one, making it excellent value, and I plan to buy others in the collection. One 'end' of the doll is little red riding hood. If you take off her cloak and turn her over, you have the woodcutter. Lift the skirts over her head and on the other 'end' there is the grandma. Turn her over, and it is the big bad wolf dressed as grandma! The doll is beautifully made and the detail is lovely. Lifting the skirts and smoothing them down and untyeing the cloak is good for fine motor skills. The doll itself has been wonderful for her imagination. She knew the story anyway so has been retelling bits of it and acting bits out with the doll. I have found it adds a nice extra dimension to storytim when reading this book. It would be a really good start to a storysack too. Can't wait to add to our collection!
