These are a good replacement for the average pathetic horns put in vehicles... these have a high and a low range horm and is a good warning device. These are more likely to warn a potential collision with a motorist, pedestrian or wildlife.... If you want louder than what these can put out (136db) than best to get a truck, train or large set of air horns to do the job.... For the average vehicle these are going to be a hugn improvement on the standard factory fitted horns. I gave these 4 stars as I am unsure at this stage of the durability and lifespan but as they are not used all the time... they should last the distance of the vehicle's lifespan.... Great produst for the price, can't beat them!

I fitted the pair of Stebel horns today and love the sound they produce. There were a couple of issues. One is the support bracket fixed to each horn, as I needed to move the bracket slightly but as I started to undo the nut, the bolt head that's inside the horn just started to spin so there was no way to loosen the nut and then the challenge was to try and tighten it back up again. The bolt head inside the horn should have a cavity so it locks in place and doesn't spin then we can position the bracket in any direction we want once loosened. The other issue is there's no labelling on the terminals indicating which is earth and which is power and in modern vehicles like mine the ECU chucked a wobbly with many warning lights displayed like Check Engine, Emergency Braking, Parking Sensors, and Lane Keeping Assist and would not disappear. So after a few rechecks and then reinstalling the original horns all the warning lights disappeared, so we knew it was the new Stebel horns causing the problem. Then we swapped the earth and power cable on the terminals on one of the horns and no warning lights were displayed, so it was the polarity direction from the terminals that caused the problem. After being a little frustrated, it's all good now.

Great sound, (could be a little louder though). Still better than the standard horns.
