“I have a collection of over 30 kwan yins of all sizes, shapes, postures, materials, etc. I have searched quite awhile for one with the dharma scroll. Many from China directly are of questionable quality so decided to purchase this one as it was reasonably priced and could be returned in the U.S. if I didn't like it. Will not be returning her. She is lovely. Has a peaceful wisewoman quality about her. Even though rosin, it looks like dark bronze and the gold overlay areas are bright and detail overall is very good.
