“There is simply no better centerpiece for anyone's dining table than a Chinese table bowl on a beautiful stand. They not only have presence standing alone, they are absolutely perfect for flowers. And there is scarcely a more elegant table bowl than this one with one in deep celadon--a gorgeous color with a crackle glaze giving it both depth and interest. Ironically enough, I bought this bowl as an "also ran" when the oxblood one I originally wanted turned out to be out of stock and I needed something quickly for a party. The dear folks at Oriental Furnishings promised to let me exchange it when their oxblood stock was replenished. But, while I still plan to get the oxblood one, I will keep the celadon one as well. It is simply too elegant--and too perfect for presenting flowers--to give up.”
