“The base of this lamp is stunning! The porcelain is topped with brass and sits on a carved (not plain) wooden base. There were no flaws to the base of the lamp. I loved it the minute I was able to unwrap it. The lamp was EXTREMELY well packaged! My only disappointment is with the lamp shade. The quality of the shade does not match the quality of the base, but this is not enough to lessen the beauty of the lamp. I will replace the lamp shade with a higher quality black shade than the one which shipped with the lamp, but for the meantime, the shade is okay. I still HIGHLY recommend this lamp!”
