“I did a lot of Internet research (several weeks) on heated jackets before purchasing the Ororo jacket. There is a reason all sites list this jacket as the number one choice - it is the best made. I purchased the jacket with a spare battery on sale. The jacket is true to size (I wear an XL) and is very warm without using the heating elements. The initial warm up feature heats the jacket very quickly and the settings are couldn't be more explanatory - hot is hot! I found that initially warming the jacket before going outside on a twenties degree day and wearing only a T-shirt under the jacket to be very comfortable. After the initial warming I set the jacket on the lowest setting and it was very warm. I don't use the hood because I never cared much for hoods but it is of good quality. The only thing I wish the jacket had was elastic cuffs on the ends of the sleeves for a better fit - but if you wear gloves you won't notice it as much. Can't wait to try it in below freezing temperatures. I recommend the Ororo heated jacket to everyone - it is the best.”
“I am constantly cold from the beginning of fall, to the middle of spring. But we have so much to do outside, as well as two boys that love playing in the snow. Which means, Mama has to be outside too. This has helped me so much with getting outside with my kids more. And being able to handle the winter tasks. The battery lasts about 10 hours on low, about 5 hours on high.”
