“I really don't know what I was expecting so perhaps my expectations were too high to begin with. The socks run small. The plastic pad sandwiched between the underside of the toe area to the ball of the foot is the extent of the heating area. The heating pad is noticeable, so these socks are not for moderate to heavy activity. Best for sitting around. I'm guessing socks are not Ororo's strength.”
“The socks are tighter then expected. One sock was uncomfortable because the wire was digging into my foot. I switch to opposite foot which was better. I have to run the socks on high to keep my feet warm in 28 -34 degree temps when sitting for 2-3 hours. Battery life was still good. Overall I would give this product 3 and a half stars”
“Socks started on Low per instructions then Medium and then High. Used for about 5 hours and battery still had 1 dot left. Feet finally felt warm. Thought it would be faster since I even had my slippers on. Still good. Will continue to use.”
“I live in the north and each winter my wife begs me to move somewhere to the south where she can get away from the cold. Since I have no interest in that purchased these socks for her as part of a package deal with a heated jacket for myself. She loves them! They fit well and heat up quickly and are arm. The battery packs are not bulky and easily fit within pants. The best part? Way cheaper than moving out of state! Would high recommend!”
“The socks are soft and comfortable. The heating element was barely noticeable while wearing the socks. However, the heated portion of the sock seemed to be a band around the arch of the foot. While the warmth within my boots helped, my toes still remained cold. In my opinion, the socks would be greatly improved by the addition of heating elements to the underside of the toe of the socks.”
“The socks are too tight and too long for the length of my lower leg. I can tolerated the tights for a while but then they get painful.
I am not as wildly happen with the socks as I am with the gloves and "jacket.”
