“I was really excited to get this vest for Christmas. I thought it would be helpful when playing cold-season golf and doing outdoor work when I don't want to be encumbered by a full coat.
The good: The battery seems to have substantial life, the neck and pocket warmers are really effective and helpful.
The not as good: I originally got the medium and it was way too baggy. I downsized to the small to get a snugger fit, and it's a little better, though now the vest is a little too short. It's manageable but not ideal. Because it's not snug enough, the chest and back warmers aren't very effective as their heat dissipates before it can reach my body.
I am also puzzled by why the battery doesn't have a more tailored compartment. it's in a pocket with a bunch of room to bang around, and it doesn't feel secure in there when I'm moving about. I'm sure it's not going anywhere but I don't know why it doesn't have a pocket that keeps it in place rather than moving around and straining against a thin fleecy wall.
I like the idea of this vest but maybe it's not the best model for what I want. wish I could exchange it for something else in their line that might be better for me.”
