“I recently used this vest during a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro. At lower altitudes, the vest was comfortable and warm without the battery. On summit night, I used the vest directly over my base layers. I only activated the battery when we stopped for rests as the high winds and freezing temps would chill you down VERY quickly.
