"Twin Cities" 3-in-1 Heated Gloves 2.0 Reviews

I have not tried them outside yet. Followed the size guide but the liners are too tight. I measured 19.5 cm / 7.5” across palm. Chart says to order small. Will need to exchange.

The heating is great. I bought these gloves for mountain biking in the winter. Having that constant wind on fingers will eventually suck the heat out of even high quality gloves. I knew getting something heated would be the only good solution at really cold temps, so I bought the Twin Cities. And they work. Period. I rode for 90 minutes in 6F weather and my fingers never go cold. I never had to stop and warm up. My only issue is the battery. It’s pretty huge. It may be that the performance I described above is only possible with a larger battery, but I’d be willing to pay 1/3 more for a smaller power source if it were currently available. Also... I wear a GPS watch while riding and the glove battery stacks itself above the watch, making things a little tricky. The discomfort isn’t a deal-breaker - ultimately these are the only gloves I’ve owned that can handle the job - but I look forward to future iterations of battery.

I sometimes work outdoors doing manipulative work with my hands for several hours at a time. These gloves run small. My hands are average size and the L's needed to be sent back for XL's, which are still snug. As a system, the heated liners are too snug with the outers, my best luck has been using the liners with other leather outers (with their liner removed). The outers are decent as stand alones, but not worth the price. The batteries in the gauntlets of the liners are large and make it diffulcut to use with some heavy winter coats. Bottom line; the liners are good, work fine in not too cold weather, are OK with other outers. They'll take the chill off over a long period of time but are not going to keep your hands 'warm' over an extended period in real cold weather.

The gloves are very well made. The inner glove fits well and heats up to keep my hands comfortable in the last -15 deg snow. The only problem is that the outer glove is not big enough to allow the inner glove to insert and be comfortable. The out glove is to big for my hands without a inner glove. Seems like the inner xl glove needs a outer xxl glove.

At first I did not think they were heating adequately, but after a few minutes I realized my fingers were not cold like they would have been. And I use them using only the inner heated inner liner! Temps in the 20s and very windy at the river.. Solid construction throughout. I made a great purchase..

I love the inner heated liners; they fit my size small hands. However, when you put on the outer gloves, the fingers are much too tight so your hands get cold. ORORO would have done better to have a mitten overlay vs. a glove. Perhaps this option existed and I missed it.
