As an avid cyclist with Raynaud's syndrome, keeping my hands warm on winter rides is a real challenge. The Calgary gloves allow me to ride for up to two hours in temperatures as cold as the low 30s. I like the fact that the battery compartments close with zippers rather than Velcro. These gloves provide sufficient dexterity for operating the brake and shift levers on my bike. When I decided to return a pair of Ororo Buffalo gloves and switch to the Calgary gloves for greater warmth, Ororo customer service was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

First, these gloves are great construction. Comfortable and feel well made. However, I bought them for the heat! Living in Minnesota, and having several other ORORO items, I took them on a walk in 20 degrees weather. I had them on high, and could feel the heat but barely. In fact, my pinky fingers started to feel a little chilly by the end of my walk. I had to keep turning them back to the red setting to get heat. Really wish these gloves heated up. I LOVE the vests and recommend them all the time. Not so much with these gloves.

Amazing for managing Reynaud’s!! Finally I can ski all day without pain and enjoy the whole day with my family! A little on the long side in the fingers for me, but I have really small hands!

After trying a couple pairs of no-name Amazon heating gloves. I can honestly, these are not worth the price. I work in a warehouse and I have to be in an industrial freezer for hours at a time. The insulation is not the best on these, which could be okay if the heat complimented the weak insulation. Alas, the heating elements are unfortunately not the warmest, and it felt like my hands were just staying “not cold” and not actually warm/hot. I can say however the battery life is pretty decent. Its a well made product, just not suitable for warehouse freezers/work settings. Probably more cold weather/winter settings.

Have not challenged these gloves yet the quality is obvious, the fit is perfect, the heating seems adequate but has not been cold enough yet. Was tempted to go for half price amazon products but was swayed by ororos warranty and glad of it.

I like the gloves a lot. I’ve used them twice so far. (Received them two days ago.) One of which was an astronomy night observing session for the public with temperatures in the upper 30’s°F. The new design with the newer glove battery was still showing two bars after about 2.5h at high. The perfect gloves would, for me, be slightly looser. I’m using the XL. My left hand is a good fit, my right slightly snug. I like the new design where it shows both the heat setting and the remaining battery capacity. Good to know if you need to tone down the heat to last longer. Regarding heat, I have cold hands. The high setting, while not being active, was good. I did not feel “hot” so it was a good setting. My wife purchased the small size and she doesn’t have the coldness problem I have and she prefers the middle heat setting for the same outdoor situation.
