"Amsterdam" Heated Mittens 2.0 Reviews

4.7 Rating 27 Reviews
These mittens are great for what they are, but they are only heated on the backside of your hand. My fingertips and the front side of my hand are left cold unless I’m rotating the mitten around my fingers or using a different hand heater.

This is my third set of heated gloves/mittens, and my first from Ororo. This is a decent product. I like the three heat settings, and the batteries aren't too bulky (they also are curved to match the curve of your arm!). The mittens are at their warmest when in "preheat" mode, which is the first 5ish minutes when you turn them on. The highest normal setting is warm enough to keep the chill out and keep my Raynaud's from acting up for my 20ish minute walk to work (I deal with wintertime temps of 20-40 degrees F on average). However, I would say my hands don't necessarily feel *warm* when the outside temperature is on the lower side, just *not cold*. Also, my hands are 7.5 inches in circumference and 7.25-7.5 inches in length and the small fit me fine--doesn't feel oversized at all.

The fit is a little snug- the size chart recommended a medium for me, but even the large size feels snug ( but comfortable). The company was great about refunding the medium for me - good customer service.

These are great. I’ve always had cold anda and fingers. Whether walking the dog, skiing or driving. My challenges are the battery doesn’t go 3-4 hours even on medium, and there is no tech touch point I can find, they kept my hands toasty and comfortable to clear the car, shovel and for the first hour of skiing. I need another set of batteries for a day of skiing. And it’s important to turn them off or down immediately if not needed.

My wife has horrible circulation and even the most puffy mittens would never do. Now these slim, good looking mits keep her hands warm all the time in the cold Alaska winter.

I really enjoyed this glove. It is very warm and kept my hands warm and dry during my 2 hours shoveling 10 inches of snow on my 3 car driveway. They kept dry during the flurries that were coming down. Great wind barrier as well. Heating element is good.

I tried a bunch of allegedly warm mittens from big brands like Hestra and found my fingers freezing every time. Not with these beauties!! With the white setting I can stay toasty for up to 6 hours in windy and frosty conditions of PNW. Probably would get another battery set as I tend to ski all day long. The quality looks pretty top notch and the small size I got runs a bit long, but I actually like that since the heating sensors are far enough from my fingers to feel comfy, but not hot.
