“My wife has horrible circulation and even the most puffy mittens would never do. Now these slim, good looking mits keep her hands warm all the time in the cold Alaska winter.”
“I really enjoyed this glove. It is very warm and kept my hands warm and dry during my 2 hours shoveling 10 inches of snow on my 3 car driveway. They kept dry during the flurries that were coming down. Great wind barrier as well. Heating element is good.”
“I tried a bunch of allegedly warm mittens from big brands like Hestra and found my fingers freezing every time. Not with these beauties!! With the white setting I can stay toasty for up to 6 hours in windy and frosty conditions of PNW. Probably would get another battery set as I tend to ski all day long.
The quality looks pretty top notch and the small size I got runs a bit long, but I actually like that since the heating sensors are far enough from my fingers to feel comfy, but not hot.”
“The mittens are a bit large for my fingers and especially my thumb (and I did the measurements that you recommended). The battery is so large that it is bulky around my wrist and tight over my ski jacket. Battery wore down quickly the 1st day even though I had it on Medium. In general, my hands stayed warm but it was not an extremely cold day.”
“I have only used my Amsterdam Heated Mittens 2.0
twice. Both times I was skiing in Colorado and the temperature was in the mid teens too and got up to about 20 degrees Fahrenheit. I set them on the medium heat setting and my hands stayed warm most of the time. I was afraid to set them on high, fearing the battery would wear down too fast. Nexts time, I will bring the extra batteries I got and keep them on high to see how fast the battery runs out. I like that the mittens are long enough you can just pull them up over the outside of your coat cuffs and don't have to worry about tucking them into your coat cuffs. I measured as the website instructions dictated and the fit was perfect. Only reason I put "very good" for heating performance is that I have used them only twice.”
