“I have a mild case of Renauds Syndrome, which means that my fingers get cold very easily, even with high quality mittens. So, I was excited to try out my new heated mittens for the first time today on a 2 hour hike. The temperature was ten degrees F, and probably 5 degrees F with the “wind chill”. While my fingers were definitely warmer than my toes, they weren’t as warm as I thought they'd be, even on the highest temp setting. After I returned home, I recharged the battery for about an hour before my wife tried them out. Unfortunately, the batteries ran out on her walk since there was no way to know how much charge the batteries had before she left. So, it would be useful if there was a charge level indicator on the battery. Anyway, I assume the mittens will work better when it’s not quite so cold outside (e.g. above 20 degrees F).”
“Only issue is that when I registered the product they asked if I wanted a $20 off coupon for an extra battery. It turns out the coupon is for a battery that doesn't work with the mittens. hmmmmmmmm”
