“My husband and I purchased Ororo mittens for ourselves last year and have really enjoyed having warm hands when we ski. We usually keep them on the Medium setting and they do quite well in very cold weather. We have found that the batteries last about 4 hours, so we bought an extra pair of batteries for each of us, just in case.
Our three adult daughters also complain about their hands being cold, so we bought them each mittens as early birthday presents this year. They were very excited!

“The fit is fantastic! I haven't tried on highest setting yet but medium was ok. True tests currently as the temperature is ridiculously cold. I was a bit concerned that the batteries are to be used when temp is -10 C...I need heat for much colder than that. Current temp is -30 and lower. Will be a test to see if they can hold up.”
“My husband bought these mittens for me because my hands, especially the fingertips freeze when it is cold outside regardless of the type of glove or mitten I wore. But when I used the "hot hands" packets my hands would start sweating or my fingertips would still freeze in gloves. Tried these new Ororo Mittens this morning and they are FABULOUS, my hands and fingertips stayed at a perfect temperature for me :) So nice to be able to be comfortable outside in the winter and not have the painful, tingling and numbing sensation that almost always happened before.

“My wife and I are using these for skiing and really like the heat they provide. Having wires running down the fingers including the thumb is great. I'd go for a 5 star except the battery life is much less than expectation. I'm running them on one bar of heating and only getting 3 hours of heat. The battery pocket seems like it could support a battery maybe 50% bigger. That would be a good improvement. In the meantime we are planning to buy additional batteries.”
