“These mitten/gloves are living up to the claims: just-right snug (I have very small hands & skinny fingers); warm; and generally very well designed as to function. The only problem I have with them--and indeed with all mittens and gloves--is that they are not quite wide enough to fit OVER bulky sleeves; yet too bulky to be tucked INTO coat sleeves. Furthermore, once one has one glove on, it's difficult to adjust or even turn on the other one with a fully mittened hand! The batteries that tuck under the wrist are fairly heavy as well. But these are perhaps quibbles.”

“Used them for work today- walking a creek. Air temperature mid to upper 20's F with no wind. Set them on level 2. I used the wrist straps and thought the worked very well. I had to pull them off frequently to write fieldnotes, and they were easy to take off and on. The gloves kept my fingers warm even with frequent removal. Perhaps additional wires could be installed into the thumb, as it was not perfectly "toasty" (but not bad either). I like the leather palm for taking some rough use (today it was climbing over logs). For winter sports I normally layer a wool glove inside an outer mitten. So I like the similar design offered by the Amsterdam.”
