“I work in a high school where they can never seem to regulate the temperature correctly. This vest is perfect for chilly days in the office. I have neck issues also and LOVE the heated neck area! “Two Christmases ago my husband got me this vest because I'm always cold at work (ok, in general, but work was pretty cold) and I wear it all the time! I can't say enough about how much I love this vest! It keeps me nice and toasty warm without the bulk of lots of layers. The battery is decent (that's the reason for the 4 star rating), though I didn't find that it lasted as long as the website said it would so I got another one to have as backup or for longer days.
Things I like about the vest vs jacket:
1) I can wear the vest to the office which is more acceptable than wearing a jacket all day long.
2) I can wear my vest under my winter coat/jacket on either snowy days or for my kids soccer games, etc and still be nice and warm and not feel too bulky.
3) the vest heats up the neck area (oh so nice!)
4) the front part warms up too (think stomach area) which in turn heats up the pockets so I can warm my hands in my heated pockets.
