In terms of not-so-positive feedback, I would say the sizing of the women’s vest could really use some tweaking. I am 5’ 1”, 116 lbs, and usually wear a petite size 2 or 4. I referred to the size chart when I first ordered, and my measurements were well within the size range for the small. I have other vests and jackets in sizes XS to Small that all fit well. The small Ororo vest fit well through the top, but was too tight to comfortably wear around the hips. I think one reason for the poor fit was because it wasn’t a petite size, and so it fell below the hip line. If I was 5’6” perhaps the fit would have been OK, but I’m not. The only way I could have worn it was to allow it to bunch up around my middle - not comfortable. As I expected, the size medium is very large on me, not only through the top but all over. It fits more like a tunic vest. I’d say it needs to be about 3” smaller through the top for a better/good fit, and based on its length and where it falls on my hips, an inch or so smaller at the hem. At the very least, I would suggest adding the length from the base of the neck/collar seam to the hem to the size chart. (I did ask for that measurement via an email after trying the size Small, but never received a reply.) However, it will work for the main purpose I wanted it; it just doesn’t have the style that I would have preferred. For that reason, I would not give it the highest review.”
“I have had this vest since December 2019. I am a Search and Rescue team member and it is perfect in keeping my core warm. I usually just need the low or medium setting when I stop moving and then turn it back off or to low when I'm hiking again. I chose the vest in order to have more flexibility in my arms and due to the need to wear a team jacket. I took just the battery pack on a mission last weekend. I charged 2 phones and still had half the battery pack charge left. I'm currently eyeing the jacket for personal use. :)
I am 5'6" and 140#. I chose the medium which I wear over base layers. I think a small would be fine if I was looking for a more snug fit.”
