“This particular style of vest, which is a little longer, might be a poor choice for anyone who has a large difference between their top and bottom sizes. I bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law. She wears a size L or 10/12 in tops and a size 14/16 in pants. I originally ordered this vest in large and it was impossible to zip around her hips. We exchanged it for the XL. I was nervous the exchange process would be a hassle as I had to email them first to explain why I wanted the return/exchange but was pleasantly surprised that it was a very simple and very fast process. I got the size large shipped out within 24 hours of my initial email request and received the replacement within the same week. The extra large was still a bit too tight in the hip, but we were afraid that any bigger would just be too large on her shoulders. She tried on the male size XL that I got my husband, and that actually fit her better in the hip but is a bit large in the shoulder. She has now worn it and does love the warmth and comfort it offers. It seems like with some wear, the area around her hips has loosened a bit to be more comfortable. Overall, 5 stars: it a high quality product and fast customer service. I would’ve probably got her a different style from the start if I had known, but that doesn’t change the fact that the product itself is fantastic.”
