“I bought a small Women's heated down vest - slim fit - for my wife for Christmas. She wears a size 4 to 6 dress and the vest fits perfectly over a medium sweater. We live just north of Seattle in cold/wet country and she suffers from Raynaud's syndrome which causes circulatory problems when her hands get cold. Wearing this vest under a jacket on a cold day is perfect because she can put her hands in the pockets of the coat just on top of the heated pockets of the vest and stay nice and warm. The heated neck is also a nice touch. Wearing the vest over a sweater on a cool day is perfect too, especially with the hood. I originally found this item on Ebay but read some reviews which warned of second rate knock-offs so I bought direct from the company. Couldn't be happier, except now I'm a bit jealous because I don't have one yet.”
“The vest would be a great purchase even without being heated. I have been concerned that a heated garment would be stiff or bulky. The vest fits and move just like an non heated vest and the battery is placed in a manner that makes it barely noticeable.”
“Quality of the vest appears great. I have not had a chance to test it yet. I ordered a medium and it was way to big so I had to return for a small. I recommend ordering a size smaller in down vest version. I am 5'6, 135#, chest 35.5 and hips 37, vest was too big in chest and way too big in the hips. Reason for 4 star - my friend has one and she is really happy with it.”
“I like it a lot but would be even better is if there was a chest pocket out side & inside pockets.
It feels warm just without turning it on.
Would be better if you just turn on coat at top and not have to turn battery on. (Too many steps especially if coat is already zipped up).
Would be great if there was also a men’s version.”
