“Bought this for my mother who is constantly cold and will make sure to let you know. I had originally purchased it as a Christmas gift, but when it arrived in early December I knew that neither of us would be able to survive without it for a few more weeks, so she got it early. And now she's worn it nearly every single day. It's the quick-heating envy of her mutually-cold friends and I, gloriously, don't need to hear about the weather or fight over the house thermostat. It's a great gift for both our sanity. Only downside is that I now probably need to buy her the whole line. Good for her, good for Ororo, bad for my wallet by c'est la vie.”
“The battery pack is poorly placed and sits right on my hip bone. It needs to be higher or moved to the front or back. I actually can’t imagine a worse placement for the battery pack. I constantly hit my elbow on it and it pushes on my hip. That aside, the vest is a perfect fit and provides just the right amount of warmth.”
“I love having this heated vest for the hospital. It is very neat to charge up and use. I’ve noticed that even on the low setting, it does not last my full 12 hour shift. It lasts maybe 6 and takes a long time to charge back to battery pack.”
“It’s hard for me to label to fit as being too small or too large. The shoulders fit right, the hips fit right but in the middle it’s a little big on me. But I also have big hips and shoulders but a small waist.
To really have this vest work it needs to be a layer inside something else - then it keeps you warm. But I also wonder if that’s because my midsection is not pressed against the fabric. Maybe that is why I felt like I wasn’t getting much heat when I didn’t have something over it. The front heating element make the pockets warm, but of course you’re not putting your hands in them if you’re wearing something over it.
All of this being said, I am glad I bought the vest because it kept me warm at a recent outdoor event, and the battery lasts a long time. I do wish the battery pack was placed somewhere else. It’s in a weird spot that makes you look like you have one hip that’s bigger than another.”
