“I bought this for cold skiing days as well as an option for other outdoor activities. So far, I’m impressed with the heating but have not had a chance to try it in real world conditions! The vest is nice quality. I ordered a medium. I’m 5’5 and 135 pounds. My plan is to wear it over a base layer. It is roomy over a t-shirt but perfect with a ski base layer. I’m not big chested so it is a little “sloppy” in the chest but I’m fine with that because I don’t like feeling “restricted” when skiing.”
“I ordered the original version of the vest 3 times and the sizing was too small, to big. I gave up.
This new vest has superior fabric over the original and a black zipper which makes the vest look more upscale.
The battery is shaped better and very slightly thinner.
Placement of the battery is better than the original also. It's placed toward the hip instead of by the zipper which made the original version VERY unflattering!
I'm VERY happy with the new fit, fabric, and battery placement off to the side.
